COMPASS-U: Metal Felt

The purpose of this Public Contract is the development, manufacture (including purchase of materials), testing and delivery of the Metal felt made of fine copper wires sintered on copper foil “ for COMPASS-U Tokamak experimental device for primary research. The purpose of use of the Product is to secure permanent electrical contact in high current sliding joints between the conductors of the TF coils of the COMPASS-U tokamak under high vacuum (< 10- 6 Pa), high magnetic field (up to 13 T) and at cryogenic temperature (down to -196 °C).
